Three things to know

Decentrabet, in three lines.

You set the odds.

Anyone writes a question, picks fixed odds and a stake limit, and deploys their own market contract.

Beta testnet

The contract holds the money.

Stakes sit in the market contract, not a Swop wallet. The validators you name resolve it, and Swop never runs the book.

Majority vote · contract pays out

Testnet only, for now.

Base Sepolia with test USDC, contracts not yet audited, no real money. Legal review and geo-gating come before any real money.

S.02 · Decentrabet in 30 seconds

Decentrabet lets anyone create a yes-or-no market on a question, choose the payout odds themselves, and let people they trust decide the result. Today it runs only with free test money.

Who it's for

Creators and communities who want to run their own markets instead of using someone else's book, and developers exploring on-chain markets and AI agents that play poker.

What it costs

Nothing during the beta. It runs on a testnet with test USDC, which has no value. Swop takes no fee, and there is no real money in it.

What you need

A crypto wallet that connects with WalletConnect, and some free test USDC on Base Sepolia. Signing in with your swop.id comes later.

Step card on the Decentrabet site: Connect. Any wallet, via WalletConnect; your wallet is your identity, with no emails, accounts or custodial sessionsLive site
STEP 01

Connect a wallet

Your wallet is your account. There's no email sign-up and Decentrabet never holds your keys.

Step card on the Decentrabet site: Set the odds and deploy. Pick outcomes, lock the odds, stake your own side and deploy your market as a contract you ownLive site
STEP 02

Set the odds and deploy

Write the question, lock the odds and put up your own side. The market goes live as a contract you own.

Step card on the Decentrabet site: Settle. Your named validators attest the outcome, and the deciding vote releases winnings and unmatched refunds from escrow in the same transactionLive site
STEP 03

Share it, then settle

Post the live card anywhere. When it closes, the validators you named vote, and the contract pays out by itself.

TestnetA practice copy of a blockchain. Its tokens are free and worth nothing, so mistakes cost nothing.
Smart contractA small program on a blockchain that holds money and follows fixed rules. Here, each market is its own contract.
ValidatorA person the creator names to judge the result. A majority of them decides the outcome.
AuditA security review of a contract's code by outside experts. Decentrabet's contracts haven't had one yet.
swop.idA Swop username like maya.swop.id. The plan is to show these on bets and use them to sign in.
SmartSiteYour Swop page. A Decentrabet card can sit on it and update itself.
S.03 · How it works

From a question to a settled market.

Here is one market, “Will it rain in Austin this Saturday?”, from the moment it’s created to the moment it pays out.

01 · Ask

Ask anything. Set the odds.

Fixed odds, a stake limit, a closing time and the people who will judge the outcome. You choose all of it.

02 · Deploy

It's your contract, not ours.

Each market is its own contract. Stakes sit in that contract, not in a Swop wallet and not with Decentrabet.

03 · Share

Embed it anywhere.

A live card that updates itself, from open to settled. Drop it on your SmartSite, share it to the Swop feed, or paste it into any site.

04 · Resolve

Named validators decide.

The people you named vote on the outcome. A majority resolves it, and the contract pays out on its own.

S.04 · The rules

Simple math. Clear custody.

The short version: you pick the odds, the contract holds the money, and nobody at Swop or Decentrabet can take it.

You set the odds

Fixed odds, a matched book, refunds on overage. The market math has 255 tests behind it.

2.4× you pick the number

The contract holds the stakes

Not Swop, not Decentrabet. Swop provides identity and distribution and never runs the book.

Your stake→Market contract→Payout

Poker on the same contracts

Tables use mental poker: a 2,048-bit encrypted deck and a signed relay, with no trusted dealer. An MCP server lets AI agents take a seat.

S.06 · Honest status

Where it stands, and the swop.id path.

Decentrabet was spun out of Swop in July 2026 so that creators own their markets. The plan brings it back as the first dApp you sign into with swop.id.

Testnet beta
  • Create and deploy markets on Base Sepolia with test USDC.
  • Live embed cards that track open, awaiting validators, resolved and settled.
  • Share to the Swop feed as a live market post.
  • Poker relay and MCP server for AI agents (browser seats are off for now).
Before real money
  • Legal review and geo-gating, so markets only run where the law allows.
  • A contract audit of the market and poker contracts.
  • Swivy in production for Sign in with Swop.
S.07 · Plugs into

Swop brings the people.

Identity and distribution come from Swop. The stakes stay in your contract.

S.08 · Questions

Straight answers.

Is there real money in Decentrabet?

No. It runs on the Base Sepolia testnet with test USDC, which has no value. Real money would need a legal review, geo-gating and a contract audit first, and none of that is done yet.

Who holds the stakes?

The market's own contract. Not Swop, and not Decentrabet. Each market is deployed by the person who created it.

Who decides the outcome?

The validators the creator named when setting up the market. A majority of them resolves it, and the contract settles on that result.

Can I sign in with my swop.id?

Not yet. Today you connect a wallet with WalletConnect. Showing swop.ids on bets is the first planned step, and Sign in with Swop comes once Swivy is in production. WalletConnect will stay as an option.

Is Decentrabet part of Swop?

It was spun out of Swop in July 2026 so creators own their markets and Decentrabet ships the tooling. It's coming back into the ecosystem as a dApp that uses swop.id, while Swop never runs the book.

Can AI agents play?

Agents can sit at poker tables through Decentrabet's MCP server today, on testnet. Agents betting on markets would only happen inside caps a person sets, and only after the legal review.

Testnet only

Decentrabet uses test tokens on Base Sepolia. Contracts are unaudited. Nothing here is an offer of real-money betting.

Try it

Ask a question. Set the odds.

Deploy your first market on testnet. It costs nothing but test tokens.
